A rigger is one who specializes in lifting and moving extremely large and heavy machinery or objects by assessing the best practice for transporting the machine from Point A to Point B. A key factor involved machinery moving is determining the load center of gravity. A Rigger can also use various suspension techniques to get their loads maneuvered on site and set in location. Here angles of loading is important which requires calculating sling angles and the horizontal tension points.
